And so, it's like when I begin my runs after putting on my shoes and stepping off my property. I don't know where my body will run me. But it's a privilege I hold, in that I can run free.
Today, On BuddTalk's, I sat down and pulled up to the mic to speak me. I spoke free. And said forget what people think. Because I don't think, I thank. 
I'm grateful for this choice. Appreciate my body's voice. I never knew where it'd take me. So far, a journey of words to explore new peaks...

A good friend from college was traveling from Seattle, back down to Los Angeles, where he's from, for a summer vacation and stopped in Portland to do Portland stuff. He and his girlfriend stayed in my guest bedroom and of course, we did a podcast...

My father was a preacher. And growing up in his eyes, I knew he wanted me to follow in his foot steps. But I never wanted to preach religiously, teach a divisive way of life, or say I believed in something that hadn't resonated with me just yet. 
So, here I am, speaking like him and expressing a message with intent in good faith. 
So be it, his dreams have come true. The only thing I'd tell him, "It's just a little different with me, today..."

Recovering from COVID, I got a chance to record my voice. Hearing me journey through wordplay and maneuver verbs like toys, is just nonsense—but better than not expressing my voice. I've got one more creative speaking episode to record before wrapping up season one.
